New Monsters

Good morning people! Hope you’ve had a good weekend. :)

Mine has been really nice. Yesterday Paula, Kalia and I went out for a long walk and ordered pizza. The weather was really nice.

Later when we came home, Paula helped me connect the new audio cable from Monstercable. They are from the M-series. ;D moahaha!! They are sooo freakin cool! Compared to the ones I had before, they look like great white sharks compared with little baby tunas. ;) I really am a lucky guy to have a girlfriend that enjoys new electronics in our home. She even liked helping me installing the cables. Now that’s a REAL babe!!

My home is slowly turning into a Monster-Apple home! Haha!

Paula bought Drive on Blu-Ray a couple of days a go. So we premiered our new setup with it. I LOVE DRIVE!!

I just want to say that I love my family. Never take em for granted. They are the only ones that will stand by your side, forever. As they say, friends come and go. So do something nice for your family today. :)

Fantastic day

I have had a fantastic day today!

We got our new dishwasher installed! It looks really nice and is super quite! Around 13:00 I toke a long nice walk with Kalia downtown in the sun. We met up with an old friend André Sandor. We used to work together at Viper Room. He is a local DJ there and have been for a long time. We ate lunch and hung out in the sun all day. He bought a new jacket and I bought some things for the kitchen.

Now Kalia is sleeping, at least she is trying. ;) Paula and I are trying to watch the original Wall Street. Neither of us have seen it! I am in the mood for good 80s movies. So if you have any nice recommendations, feel free to drop a comment. I’m sure I have seen a lot of them already, but maybe it is time for a rerun? :)

I’m kind of thinking about making some night pancakes!

Beautiful mornings

Totally change of plans.

We watched Cocktail instead. There is something special with old movies. 80s movies has this “glitter” feeling to everything. They shine in a special way.

Anyways. I loved Cocktail. Tom Cruise was awesome, and the movie took some interesting turns throughout the movie! An instant classic in my opinion. :)

I’m very pleased with my Monster M850 cable for my subwoofer. It does the job really good! Next up I’ll get about 20m of Monster cable for my 5 other speakers! :D YEAH BABY!! John the little Audio Monster!!

I’m having breakfast and a nice homemade cappuccino with Kalia <3 I love my beautiful mornings.

Ghost Protocol

Kalia is sleeping like a beauty.

Paula and I are getting ready to watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. I can’t remember much about the third MI movie. But I remember that I liked it a lot. :) you can always count on great action with smart twists.

So what else is up? Did anybody hang out in the sun today? I have to get new shades for my glasses! I think it is time to get a new spring wardrobe soon! Maybe some new sneakers as well.

Long day

Woow!

What a long day.
First of to the chiropractor in Old Town. Then home to make lunch. I made an awesome spaghetti Bolognese. Then we had a lady coming over and helping me to remove a cabinet in our kitchen so that we can fit our new dishwasher tomorrow. The installation guys are coming around 10:00.

After our lunch we took a trip downtown to buy some stuff for Kalias naming ceremony. And last we bought some new capsules at the Nespresso store.

Now we are on our way home! :)

Movie night – We Bought a Zoo

Me and Paula are looking at a beautiful movie. “We Bought a Zoo”. It is super cozy and the music is splendid. Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson and Elle Fanning is just to name a few great names. :) I highly recommend this picture.

Today was a good day. We bought a dishwasher from Bosch! It is actually my first ever. Thank you my sweet mother in law for the nice gift. <3

Area 11.1

Ahh we had ourselves a nice movie night yesterday. We were watching TinTin again, in Swedish, so that Liam understood it. :) you should have seen his face! He was so into the movie.

I talked to my boy Claes a few days ago. He had some fantastic news about his home cinema / studio. He is totally upgrading his rig! A new 3D monster projector from JVC, new electrostatic speakers from Martin Logan and new preamps. This will result in a complete audio mayhem in 11.1! That is freakin INSANE!!!

I can’t wait to mix my new tracks in there. :) looking forward!

Kalia is sleeping in her baby sitter. Liam is playing on the floor and watching Swamp Bob Squarepants.

I’m heading to work in one hour. Need to pick up more coffee. Mine is out!

My back

Ohh shit. Thank you yesterday. Migraine the whole evening! :(

Maybe it was because of the chiropractor visit. Maybe he did something. But anyways. I feel much better in my back. I have 3 appointments next week! We are going to fix this problem.

I think that a lot of my back problems is the result of an naive and stupid teenager John. I used to skate, snowboard, bmx, play tennis, soccer, basketball, and a lot of other sports. But I never spent time stretching my body. And I pretty much treated my body like shit. And today I have to eat my mistakes.

I have a very big decision to make. A life changing one.. But I feel kind of lost about it to be frank.

Now it is time for lunch.
