Tomb Raider series Re-booted!

I have always loved the Tomb Raider series. I remember playing the first one at a friends house when I was about 8 I think. And then I remember getting the Tomb Raider II game for christmas when it first came out! I was sooo excited!! It is actually one of my favorite christmases I can remember from my childhood. We had all family gathered at my fathers house in Tromsö, Norway. I also remember getting the Independence Day movie on VHS! GOOD TIMES! :) On of my all time favorite movies! (I know own it in Blu-Ray, and the sound in this movie is off the hook!

Anyways, Square Enix is making a “remake” or we can call it a “reboot” of the Tomb Raider series. And they actually seem to know what they are doing. This is a little gameplay trailer, and it looks beautiful! And I love the fact that they made Lara like a real, normal girl! She reminds me of some characters from the Silent Hill series, (Heather from SH3). It looks really good! I can’t wait to play this! But we have to wait until march 2013! But I don’t mind.. :)

Check out this awesome gameplay..

Playing in the Dirt

Good morning!

I’m laying on my couch with Paula. We just had a great breakfast and now I am drinking my first cup of coffee, while watching Oprah’s Farewell Season.

Last night I felt inspired after completing Arkham Asylum. We watched The Dark Night in Blu-Ray again. I haven’t seen it for a year or so. It is still one of THE best action movies of all time. The original score is SO EPIC! I can’t wait for the next movie, The Dark Knight Rises! :D

I bought Dirt 3 a few weeks ago and yesterday I thought I would take it for a spin. And it was a really positive experience. It is SO realistic!! First of the graphics is just fantastic. Racing game designers rarely put down enough time and effort with the backgrounds and landscapes. Take GT5 for instance. The premium cars looks so good that sometimes it is hard to tell the difference from game and reality. But if you take a look at the backgrounds, they look like they are made for PS2 or Gamecube. They STINK! And in my opinion that makes the whole experience less attractive, and less perfect. I want to get suck in to a world witch screaming cars, tracks that feels realistic and landscapes that feel authentic and gorgeous. In Dirt 3 this problem does not exist. Dirt 3 makes me forget that I am actually playing a game. The feeling of going 180 km/h on a thin gravel track in a tight forrest in Finland is a hallelujah moment! This is just what I wanted. I get sucked into this world of racing, and as I continue driving, I just want more and more!

I can easily continue writing more about this awesome game, but I don’t want to bore you COMPLETELY! :P

I’ll give you more another time.. haha!

Shark frenzy

Nighty folks..

I’m still into my shark frenzy here! Shark Week is always nice to watch. I don’t feel tiered at all. I wish I was sent down in a cage in south Africas deadly water. I wish I could watch great whites go for the kill! I love to see how they attack from the bottom. They stalk their prey from under, and then BOOM.. shoots up like a rocket and surprises their poor victim. They are sooo awesome! Billions of years of development.. They are truly perfect predators! :D

I feel kind of low tonight. I have been feeling wonderful every day for the past 2 weeks. The meds are really kicking in. Things is starting to look bright. But tonight I fell down again.. I guess I’ll feel better tomorrow.

I helped my father with some shopping today via telephone. He is buying his first flatscreen and Blu-Ray player. Better late than never dad! ;) I hope everything works great! I kind of miss Tromsö where my father lives. I has been years since my last visit. It is such a beautiful place, really.

Good night, talk tomorrow.

Brunch & pride

Aww!!

We just came home from a long walk on our home turf Södermalm. The Pride Carnival is in full action though the rain is pouring down! We watched our friends Andreas, Palmira, Remy and Charlotte celebrating, you guys rocked!! :D

After our lovely brunch at café Vero, we spent a few minutes at no 1. I bought 5 new Blu-Rays to our collection and Paula rented one of her favorite movies “Life is Beautiful“.

So now, since the weather is so bad and we both feel a bit blue today, we’ll just sit here on our couch and watch some movies.

Liam & me with our 10 dollar shakes!
