Tomb Raider series Re-booted!

I have always loved the Tomb Raider series. I remember playing the first one at a friends house when I was about 8 I think. And then I remember getting the Tomb Raider II game for christmas when it first came out! I was sooo excited!! It is actually one of my favorite christmases I can remember from my childhood. We had all family gathered at my fathers house in Tromsö, Norway. I also remember getting the Independence Day movie on VHS! GOOD TIMES! :) On of my all time favorite movies! (I know own it in Blu-Ray, and the sound in this movie is off the hook!

Anyways, Square Enix is making a “remake” or we can call it a “reboot” of the Tomb Raider series. And they actually seem to know what they are doing. This is a little gameplay trailer, and it looks beautiful! And I love the fact that they made Lara like a real, normal girl! She reminds me of some characters from the Silent Hill series, (Heather from SH3). It looks really good! I can’t wait to play this! But we have to wait until march 2013! But I don’t mind.. :)

Daniel Kandi is probably one of the most respected names in the trance scene. Uplifting euphoric melodies and chords that gives you chills down your spine.. He knows how to give you that boost you need to finish your final run.. Or make you want to close your eyes and just Take Off.

This is a track that I have loved since the first time I heard it. I remember siting down at the Paris airport with my iPod waiting for my flight, Christmas 2009. I must have replayed it a dozen times. This is pure trance in my opinion. And there is a reason why half the trance scene is trying to rip of exactly this sound. But only the Danish Kandi-man can! ;) Enjoy Venice Beach!

Merry Christmas mini Agendas

Merry Christmas everybody!!

I had the best christmas yesterday with Paula. <3

We woke up early and gave each other christmas presents and the went to Skärholmen Heron City. We watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I didn’t have any expectations about it.. But I was surprised, the movie rocked! David Fincher made a dark and very realistic version. It felt fresh and new. Rooney and Daniel where excellent in there roles. I’m impressed!

Well.. After the movie we went back home for our Jul bord. I made my first christmas ham ever, and it was just perfect! :) Really proud! The best of all was that Paula loved it! <3

Wednesday surprise

Good morning!

I just have to tell you about my lovely night with my brother Simon. He came to visit from Malmö on wednesday. Paula told me she was sleeping at her mom’s place

and that I could have the whole apartment to myself, if I meet up with one of her customers and deliver a pair of shoes.

Around 21:00.. Someone is at the door. My first though was that it is probably the customer or maybe Simon who managed to catch an earlier flight. But when I open the door, there is a man smiling outside with the largest christmas bag I have ever seen.

- “John Svartberg..?”
- “Yes, are you here for the shoes?”
- “No.. I just wanted to tell you that someone loves you deeply..”

The man hands over the large bag and wishes me a merry christmas.
I’m thanking him and closing the door.

When I open the lovely bag, this is what’s inside!

Chips, dip, candy in all different forms, Red Bulls, Coca-Cola, Snickers, The Elders Scrolls: SKYRIM on 360 and a note that says “I love you, have a nice evening..” ;)  WHAT A LOVELY GIFT!! I was sooo chocked!! Paula knows me inside out!!

Thank you for a lovely gift! You are the best woman a young man can ask for! <3 Jag älskar dig!

Simon and I had some real catch up to do. It was so much fun to see each other again. You are missed here lil’ bro! I am so proud of you! Keep rocking at your school! :)

Uncharted saturday

Hey good saturday!

How are you guys doing? I am all good!

Tonight I’m off to see Tiësto at Globen! It’s been a while since I was out at a party, I think it will be FUN! At least the music will be great! There are some other warm up DJs before but I don’t care about them. I’m all in for Tiësto! :D

Liam woke me up a few hours ago with a BIG smile. “John it is time for Uncharted 3..!!”. Yeah! It is so awesome! So far it is the best in the series! I think Drakes Fortune was better than Among Thieves. But this game series is one of the best I have ever played. It is the first time in YEARS since I feel like I want to replay a game. That does NOT happen regularly. Good job Naughty Dog! This is probably the best if not the ONLY good thing that came out of the PS3.. Except for MGS4 of course.

But still.. 4 good games? That’s it?! I hope Sony does some MAJOR changes with their next console launch, because if they don’t then I would probably not bother to buy it at all. PS3 is such an EPIC fail! I never get tiered of talking trash about Sony PS3, I guess you already get that! Haha! ;)

So when I came home last night, our christmas tree and all decorations was all set, thanks to Paula and Liam! It looks great! Real christmas:y! (:

I think I want to grab another breakfast sandwich, then we’ll jump right back into Uncharted 3!
