Area 11.1

Ahh we had ourselves a nice movie night yesterday. We were watching TinTin again, in Swedish, so that Liam understood it. :) you should have seen his face! He was so into the movie.

I talked to my boy Claes a few days ago. He had some fantastic news about his home cinema / studio. He is totally upgrading his rig! A new 3D monster projector from JVC, new electrostatic speakers from Martin Logan and new preamps. This will result in a complete audio mayhem in 11.1! That is freakin INSANE!!!

I can’t wait to mix my new tracks in there. :) looking forward!

Kalia is sleeping in her baby sitter. Liam is playing on the floor and watching Swamp Bob Squarepants.

I’m heading to work in one hour. Need to pick up more coffee. Mine is out!

Cosmopolitan interview

I forgot to tell you about yesterday. A week ago, swedish magazine Cosmopolitan contacted us about a interview and photo shoot. We will be featured in the february edition. :)

The photo shoot went very well! They where pleased with us. Paula is such a pro, you can really feel she has done photo sessions before. The photographer was really impressed with her work! She nails every single photo. Get the february number even if you don’t read Cosmo! :D

My mom is here at the moment. She is doing a little concert today at Hornstull. Paula is doing her make up right now! Liam and I are watching Toy Story 3.

Tomorrow my dear friend Claes Hedman is coming over. We are going to do some changes in our mini cinema living room. Finally our TV will be hanging on the wall! 2 years later.. haha.

I think I’m going for another Nespresso! Woop! :)

Short notice job

Wooow!

I’m soo beat.. My head feels like concrete! After a 12 hour studio session with my boy Claes Hedman in his superb Area 7.1, it is nice with a good night sleep. I got a production / mixing job on very short notice yesterday, with a deadline on monday. So it has been a chaotic day, but insanely fun!! :D

Tomorrow it is back in the studio at 11:00. Claes is picking me up! So time for some sleep now..

Bye!

Top Gear sunday

Happy sunday folks!

Paula and I picked up Liam a few hours ago. :) Good to see him again! We’re having him for two whole weeks.

Yesterday I spent the whole day with Claes at Skärmholmen. We went for a good lunch at SKHLM, and then we drove back to his place. We watched three Shark documentaries in his home cinema.. haha yepp, still shark week. But now I’m changing the subject, since I got 9 seasons of Top Gear from him. I have never watched an whole episode before, it is really entertaining. And the first season is from 2002..!? It is almost 10 years ago.. jeeeez. Time flies!

Now Liam is playing on his red Nintendo DSi I bought him last time, Lego pirates is on the game menu. ;)

Coffee cup nr 4 is on the way.. Yum!

The writer

So..

I’m sitting on my couch I just finished Alan Wake. I look around in my living room and all I can see is darkness. The only lights that give me a glimpse of darkness penetration is the quarter circle on my Xbox, the Dolby Digital logo on my Yamaha receiver, the power button on my plasma and a blue bright light coming from my subwoofer. Everything else is just dark as the color black.

The ending credits made me feel sad. Alan Wake wast just as good as I thought it would be.. I feel a little sad that my adventure to the deep darkness is over. I really enjoyed playing trough this amazing psychological horror thriller. The musical score is one of the best I have heard since the Bioshock games. Finish Remedy did a fine job with Alan Wake and I can’t wait for the next one. In the meantime I bought the first expansion “The Signal”.

As I’m writing this It becomes clear how far left behind I really am, when it comes to gaming. I remember Max Calberg aka Lunar Motion visiting my last apartment in Skanstull giving me my free copy of AW. This is over a year ago.. Times is a force I can not comprehend.

Alan Wake inspired mew to catch up with my writing. I haven’t written anything in ages, except musical related stuff. Writing is such a powerful medium. It really can take you wherever you want to go. And the amazing part is that we all experience it in different ways. It always make me curious how characters and places turns out in another persons mind.

I bought the Pages app from AppStore at the same time I upgraded to Lion. So if I feel tempted to write a new masterpiece, I’m able to.

Man, I don’t feel good at all. Hope I’m better by tomorrow. I made a big rearrangement in my badroom, so now it looks more like a master bedroom. If I’m not too ill tomorrow I think I’ll buy some new stuff to my apartment. New bed sheets, lamps and some flowers, maybe a painting?

I want to give out a special big thanks to Claes Hedman for always supporting me, in good or bad. You are truly a friend for life. Thank you.

Now, ice cold Coca-Cola.
