First track of 2012 READY!

The first finished track of 2012 is here! :)

This is a remix of the track “TinBox” by the swedish indie rock band called, Drylight.

I am really happy how this one turned out. It is not really my style at all.. at least not what you guys are used to. :D I think of Gorillaz when I hear it, don’t ask me why? The harmonics is still very THERE. and I got some great lines of my own synths in it. Daniel Lugn (the singer) has a very charicaristic voice and a special way of singing. I got to choose from all of their tracks from their earlier released album “The Pieces”.

“TinBox” felt like the one for me so. I hope you guys will like it. I’ll get i up on the web as soon as possible, just need an OK from Daniel first. ;)

In the meanwhile you can stare at this picture of the beautiful waveform! Hahaha!

Short notice job

Wooow! 

I’m soo beat.. My head feels like concrete! After a 12 hour studio session with my boy Claes Hedman in his superb Area 7.1, it is nice with a good night sleep. I got a production / mixing job on very short notice yesterday, with a deadline on monday. So it has been a chaotic day, but insanely fun!! :D

Tomorrow it is back in the studio at 11:00. Claes is picking me up! So time for some sleep now..

“It just works..”

I would like to take a moment to show my love for Apple. I got my MacBook Pro (2011) just a week after they released it. I must say, I have never been more satisfied about a piece of hardware.. EVER! It feels like it has almost eternal potential. “It just works..”.

And with the new OS X Lion coming out soon (with iCloud and all the other new features), it is hard to believe it can get any better.. :) Apple you are my heroes! Steve Jobs, you are the man! Hope you get well soon.. I promise I’ll keep buying your stuff, if you continue to deliver these fine products. Apple just makes everybody happy.

I’ll take off my hat for you!
