Let’s head to Costa Blanca

So tomorrow is the day. We are leaving for one week in beautiful Spain. My cold is almost over.. Good times! :)

Last night Paula and I watched a movie I totally missed in the 90s.. Primal Fear with Richard Gere and Edward Norton (his first movie). What an excellent thriller. Usually I’m not in to thrillers at all, but this is an amazingly clever movie. The last scene made my jaw drop down to my knees.. Even though I thought I was pretty sure about how it would end, it came back an kicked me in the ***. Excellent work Edward! I loved it!

The fall is lurking around the corner here in Stockholm. I hope the weather is good in Alicante. I want to lay in the sun, listen to music and drink a few San Miguel, now that is vacation. ;)  Now it is time to pack my bags!

And yeah, btw.. my cover of Shy Remixed, featuring my remix of Broken Hearts is next to miss Kelly Rowland on iTunes! :D

Uncharted day

Have you guys ever used Tradera? It’s like the swedish e’Bay. It is addictive as hell. Haha! I usually buy video games there! I recently bought the first and second Uncharted game, since I still haven’t played them yet.. Yeah, I am kind of ashamed about that.. :P I really look forward playing through them both! I also got the Need for Speed Shift 2. It looks really good and is a good completion from Gran Turismo 5, since GT5 is more of a simulation and Shift 2 a “semi-simulation” with an arcade twist feeling. ;) The last NFS I played through was Need for Speed: Underground.. that was a loooong time ago, right?!

At the moment I’m watching Sharkville on National Geographic HD. Paula is asleep beside me and Liam is playing with his trains and little cars on the floor. It has been a good day so far. Erling, Paulas dad is coming to pick up Liam in an hour, he really wanted to visit his grandparents. :)

I’m really looking forward to the Shy Remixed release on friday!! I’m so proud of my remix of Broken Hearts. From the first time I heard the original BH I fell in love. Since this is a track with a little dedication to me. :) So when I heard that I actually was going to remix it, I got really excited about it. I made the arrangement in about 5 hours over a night. And then I continued with the track on the next day with some help and ideas from Paula. She actually came up with the lowpass filter idea on the chorus and that made the track so much more dynamic!

I really hope you would like to support it on friday! It will be available on iTunes and Beatport. It will probably take about 2-3 weeks before it is released on Spotify, I’ll keep you posted about that too.

Productive day Deluxe

I have been REALLY productive today! I feel proud of myself. 

My brother Elias (also known as “Shy”), came over after lunch. I finished the new cover for the new Shy release “Shy Remixed”. I used to play around with photoshop when I was a teenager, but I didn’t know my skills where still intact. The result is fabulous! I’m proud to have it in my portfolio.

I also helped him to finish an invitation for his new gig at Fasching, the 26th of august. You should come! We will celebrate the new remix EP (if everything goes smooth, as planned). And you will be in for a treat with Shy performing with Hofstone by his side!

I also managed to clean 70% of our whole apartment! I even cleaned behind the stove, in the stove, around the stove, behind the stove buttons.. etc etc. You get the point right?! ;) I love cleaning, I feel such satisfaction when I notice the change. I want everything to sparkle. I want to be able to drop food on my floor an still eat it without feeling like I am a nasty monster. :)

We ate lasagna to dinner from Da Luigi (the local italian restaurant), and watched Casino Royale together with Paula. It is filmed in Montenegro where we had our vacation. It was cool to recognize spots. It is such a beautiful country. Except the food.. terrible.. yuck.

I forgot to pick up new medicine, since my old pack is out! So I’ll head out to the local pharmacy!
